And Just Like That, Allison Road, Spiritual Successor To Silent Hills Has Been Canceled

Fans that were looking forward to Konami’s Silent Hills just can’t have anything nice.  London based studio Lilith, Ltd, made a public twitter announcement that Allison Road will continue no more.

Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this

Allison Road started out as a kickstarter that immediately reminded everyone of the demo P.T. , which was pulled during Kojima-gate. As the production team began to grow, they reached a deal with Team17 , allowing them to cancel the Kickstarter and move on without crowdfunding.

ZGO has reached out and will update with more details as they come. We’re definitely curious to know just what caused the problems and perhaps, they’d be willing to try again on Kickstarter as they did in the beginning.
